Last year my husband and I joined forces with our good friend and talented designer Jannine Williams in a leather business called Alter Collection. This shoot was a dream. Our original concept of a very minimalist shoot evolved into a rather dramatic one - extravagant and gorgeous - complimented with flowers and the most beautiful fabric (thanks to the team from Hertex).
To launch our partnership, we present to you our passion - ‘The Maker Range’. This is an invitation to you to join in our process and own your leather products in a whole new way. You join the Alter family in the journey by putting your hands and your heart to good use and make something with us that will be yours forever. We’ve designed this range of wallets, clutches, laptop sleeves, journals, artist pallet sleeves, and multi-purpose décor and storage boxes. Recently we’ve also partnered with anti-human trafficking group Hope Risen and there is a sewn up version of The Maker Range available - sewn up by survivors who have been rescued and rehabilitated by this incredible organisation. Part of the proceeds from these sales go to Hope Risen.
